So the source is a 'screenshot' posted by Tech Dirt about an undesirable Trump-related entity and it is immediately true and anything else such as (privacy, surveillance, free-software, big tech, etc) is speculative nonsense?

I thought Tech Dirt was a rumour mill and an 'unreputable' source here and in general. So now this time it is reputable?

I've read TD for years and always thought that they were quite reputable. They (and Masnick in particular) have better legal analysis of IP cases than I've found almost anywhere else.

Of course, it's a very opinionated site, but I don't recall ever seeing 'nonsense' on the site. Maybe I'm missing it?

Mainstream GOP darling Fox is also reporting this story, FWIW.
