On Psychedelic Masculinity

I think this article is falling a bit too much on the honeymoon phase of taking many drugs. Yes, ecstacy will make you feel love where previously there was none. Yes, cannabis is a thousands of years old religious herb that calms your aggression. Yes, psilocybin mushrooms will make you question the nature of your reality, with potential for life-changing improvement.
But meaning, purpose, self-worth? That's a lot of value assignment to one tiny slice of existence.
No drugs will give you long-term purpose, meaning or self-worth but some can certainly provoke thought patterns of "there's more to it all" or "everything is connected" which in certain people may result in positive life changes like seeking (or acknowledging) spirituality without losing disregard towards religions.
Obviously this is not what it means to be masculine, but many suggest that it is. Promoting anti-social toxic behaviors and equating them with masculinity is toxic masculinity.
We don't typically use the term toxic femininity, even though there are women out there that display toxic traits which they link to feminity.
