Honestly, having tried Lufthansa, Ryanair and Swissair within the last 9 months, I expect either bailouts or bankruptcies for non-low cost carriers in Europe. IMO the "medium" flying experience has completely evaporated, you either settle for bad quality for cheap(i.e just get me there) or pay insane amounts to fly private/first class. Problem is that a lot of the flights that are now lowcost quality are still being priced like it is a medium quality flight, and at least from personal conversations flyers are no longer willing to bite.
That said I did hear only positive things about Eastern European carriers(LOT especially), so maybe they will take over.
> “And the answer is always: Amazon.” It turns out that handling e-commerce packages for decent pay while listening to podcasts beats arriving at 5am to ask passengers whether they have packed any liquids in their carry-on.
That's a nice visual. I wonder if the pay for these two jobs really is comparable.
