That sucks. I frequently travel to Europe and in my experience that Tier is way better than Lime, Dott, and Spin. Unlike other scooter companies, Tier always has a wireless phone charger integrated into the scooter, bulk minute cost is less, and you can always get in contact with a human support agent.
Yes, I prefer Tier too. Better scooter quality, often better availability of scooters with ok battery levels, in my opinion (and they have blinkers). Lately they raised prices in Stockholm though for their 300 minute/month plan, so now I go with Voi which has equally quality scooters, in my opinion.

The venture capitalists have changed the metrics they are evaluating companies with due to the current economic climate.
Hence a lot of big companies now need to do layoffs to meet those new metrics.
It sounds kinda of silly, but it's what's going on.
Tier is just great. Been using it every now and then for years and I've never had any trouble.
