Ask HN: Slideshare or Scribd for PDFs?

I have a small bunch of, mostly scanned, PDF documents that I would like to share with the visitors of my site. Hosting of the files is a must (files are 0.5-1 MB large). Also, since the docs are scanned, it would be VERY nice if the docs could be OCR'd and searchable.

So which service would work best for me, Slideshare or Scribd?
