Norway wants Facebook fined for illegal data transfers

Burying the lede in the penultimate paragraph, it seems that the EU is waiting to see who controls Congress after the midterms, and know that the Democrats would have a hard time passing legislation which alters the CLOUD Act to the EU's benefit so close to an election.
