Mazda went back to physical controls like 4 years ago for same reason!

People say this and I look at their cars online and I see touchscreen looking things in them. What is with that.

Meanwhile my car has its 10-year birthday next month and a giant dent in the front end and I'm becoming the weird old ranty dude who just won't give in

Probably are you talking about the infotainment systems?

Are we just saying the screen is there but if you touch it then it just sits there and ignores you? I suppose that might be driveable if it's just telling me pointless things until I accidentally coffee-slosh it to death.

Spilled coffee on infotainment system, wrecked it? What manufacturer was that, would love to keep away from it.

Are Mazdas still all physical controls? Have any other cars available in the US reverted to physical controls?

The MX30 is definitely all physical, only a few of the climate-control buttons are touchpad-only.
