I don’t care what “social justice” is being used to mean in this article, but it’s not a new concept. The Big Guy from Galilee was real big on the concept, what with turning the other cheek, helping the poor, giving more to those who take from him, …. Oh, and He was real big on being non-judgemental.

If you claim to be X, then you need to follow the rules and philosophy of X. He wasn’t big on hypocrisy either. I’m sure the related religions along with many philosophical systems share similar beliefs and motivations.

It's called humanism, and it's been there for some three centuries now.

Humanism wouldn’t reject “all lives matter” while advancing “black lives matter”.

Black lives matter, the term, is a reminder that black lives do indeed matter, because black lives sure seem disposable or a means to an end way too often, imo, lapses in applicable humanism. Its not discounting the lives of anyone else of any other skin color, ethnicity or creed.

"All lives matter" was invented by alt-right as a propaganda tool. BLM has incomparably deeper meaning.

“Black lives matter” was invented by leftists as a propaganda tool. “All lives matter” has deeper meaning because it does not imply that some lives are more valuable than others.
