How has the `Ask HN' investment discovery strategy worked out for you in the past?
Surprisingly inefficient so far, at least using "Ask HN". Mostly because people didn't raise their hands in the first place so far, which feels weird. But, a few weeks ago I responded to somebody asking questions about fundraising. We connected via Zoom for a Chat, and I decided to go ahead. I didn't even know what they were doing before the call but turned out to be something I liked. I have to admit that I mostly look for "true passion" and "GSD mentality" more than anything else when it comes to seed round investments.
