One question I have: does the show ask customers about using the footage? Would the contact or law even require them to? I'd be interested to get a sense of what those conversations are like.
EDIT: according to this article (https://deadline.com/2022/08/wanda-sykes-host-syndicated-vir...) the footage is user submitted. It would still be interesting to consider if they could or are able to access that data for the show.
There are already thousands of YouTube channels (and many existing TV shows) where people submit videos of everyday things.
I don't see why Amazon getting involved makes it bad.
