> In fact, it’s so simple that you might wonder why didn’t Microsoft or thousands of Linux’s open-source developers come up with that?!

Apple didn’t come up with it either: they just ripped the idea off from the Yeti Login that went viral in 2018, likely with no credit or compensation.

The Metamask logo fox thing would behave similarly as well, not sure how that relates to Yeti though

Huh, didn’t know about the animation thing. I’m not a big fan of “memojis” if they’re called that but just my opinion. Didn’t know “MAC = Man And Computer” if that’s true, cool nugget.

Was rebooting an iPhone last night and when the Apple logo appeared started thinking what the _purpose_ of displaying it is. Guess it is something to show the device has turned on properly but probably more. It’d be more cool to me if users could configure the symbol/logo off on startupbut that’s also just a personal preference.

The OP doesn't read our comments. He told us all this yesterday.

I wouldn't read comments if I wrote like that either.

Like what?

Maybe It Would Help If I Answered Like This.

Reads like clickbait, chews like cotton candy, ... it's like reading nothing at all.

tl;dr: Animated caricatures
