Ask HN: Do you clean your web data before launching?

I’m always too scared to launch or report progress on my app(s) in development because of my social network or web activity that could project a negative view on me.

Somebody could say: “you don’t care” I don’t agree, I feel like one little show of support (even discrete like a like) to a controversial topic could ruin a launch or its long term appeal.

There is the famous experience of prankers offering New Yorkers two bottles of vines but they prefer the Californian ones but said the Parisian where turns out it was inversed, showing that historic bias is common among consumers or people in general. Excuse my narration.

How to launch a product without people stalking our social profile or is there an app to clean our own data?
