Wow, that's all pretty damning evidence, even if circumstantial. And his testimony that he was in all of the other videos, just not the one where he kills someone is pretty flimsy. If I was on a jury, I would vote to convict. But it's unlikely this man will ever face consequences.

things like this are why I am convinced that humanity is doomed. we will ultimately fail as a species, and we will deserve that fate a million times over.

believing you can get away with something like this is sometimes all a person needs to make the decision to torture and mutilate a fellow human being. you see it in wartime, you see it in peacetime, you see it on large scales and small.
