Spicy takes about AI policy

Pleasantly surprised that these are actually a bit spicy and the title wasn’t just click bait.

I’m with Jack and Ted Chiang[1] on this one. I’ve never really been at all interested in AI policy despite being very interested in AI, exactly because it is obvious to me that the problems are “power under capitalism”.

Most AI policy is totally misdirected because it doesn’t attack the actual problem with AI technology.
