I'm a huge fan of FreeBSD, though I have to admit - when I was looking at the Vulnerability Statistics chart I wondered to myself "are there fewer identified FreeBSD vulnerabilities because there are way fewer FreeBSD users (than Linux)".
he seems to be obsessed with an os he doesn't use.
Don't know what keeps him going. A desire to see FreeBSD fix those defaults? Desire for OpenBSD to be recognised as having better defaults for security than FreeBSD? What would that even look like?
And when they do fix any of those things, what is his reaction going to be? So far it's been "it took them so much time to fix this, let's keep that in mind".
The point of it is clearly to convince people to use OpenBSD instead of FreeBSD.
