These days add to that (on the Windows side) great screen recording API with native support for hardware codecs (personal thingie), perfect per-monitor DPI scaling, stable upgrades that don't make me reconfigure software sources and don't break the system, hassle-free TPM support for full disk encryption, easy to understand UI for LVM-like storage management (e.g. Storage Spaces), and a simple email client that does not make my eyes bleed.
