And bring back portrait slider keyboards, and replaceable batteries (only Motorola appears to still offer these) while you're at it. I could do 10X more real work on my old smart phone than I can on any modern one.
And no, a bluetooth keyboard is no help. Unless it attaches securely and compactly to the phone, and charges itself from the phone as well, it's going to be a neglected accessory always left at home and unavailable when needed.
Ohhh, that's what they're called. Seems useful, but they look ugly as sin.
I won't remove it now. Heck, I have a car that charges my phone if its near it - it doesnt work with the popsocket - and I've convinced myself that its for the best.
what happened to us? we were once a great people.
I personally don’t remember having a leather case or holster myself, but I did use the belt clips lol
> I told Hamilton that my dad was in the market, and he laughed. “That’s probably the most common person-to-person feedback I get,” he says. “I was on jury duty a couple weeks ago, and one of my fellow jurors was like, ‘That’s awesome, I’m gonna get one for my dad!’ And I was like, ‘god.’”
Even better: when the belt clip is not a case that can come off, but built into the phone: when it break, unscrew it, screw in another one.
The ulefone series was great for that (recommended to me by friends), check the back of the phone on the 2nd pic on https://www.androidheadlines.com/2019/09/ulefone-armor-3w-ar...
Unfortunately, newer models don't have the option which would only require screw holes.
- double fabric on knees and down
- double fabric on heel area
- gusseted crotch (an extra piece of fabric in a diamond pattern, and the pants have a slight bend sewn into the leg so its very easy to crouch etc.
- like 2-3% spandex, so they stretch
- has an extra side pocket where your hand would be if you put your hands straight at your sides like a military man
- very wide belt loop in the rear, avoids breaking
- side cut pockets so you can easily get in and out.
I am not a fanboy, i am a super fan boy.
and they're 40 bucks.
I wear these every day, the sku is NS857U
The primary area they wore out was the butt between the pockets, nowhere else, no broken zipper, no broken belt loops.
For working on cars, it's not bad.
