College textbooks get pricier as Pearson wants NFTs to track used sales

Fantastic. Truly a cherry on top of the cake that is blockchain technology - the gift that keeps on giving.

I think the only way it could possibly conceivably get worse is if the prison system adopted NFTs to track people, or maybe some coin is invented where new coins are minted when you kill a whale; Proof of Whaling.

"College textbooks get pricier" -- I think this can be reworded as "college even more for the rich or those who enjoy lifelong debt". I say this as someone who has a bachelor's degree and is in lifelong debt.
