Winamp releases new version after four years in development

"the main goal of this release was to upgrade the code base from Visual Studio 2008 to Visual Studio 2019."

"A byproduct is dropping support for Windows XP and Vista"

"problems with this release include the visualization plugin presets not working correctly, UI issues, random crashes"

"This is the culmination of 4 years' work [between] Two dev teams, and a pandemic-induced hiatus period"

Well that all sounds rather bad.
