This sucks big time. You'll need to lock me up if there ever is a draft and the military requires wearing these. Even in the private sector wouldn't surprise me if this became a requirement for some jobs.

Absolutley no respect for integrity and privacy of a person's body. For those who don't know, for some jobs in the US you are required to allow a man to cup your balls as a requirement of employment lol (checking for hernia, they could ask you to lift things instead but they do this and everyone is ok with it).

I get in the military you have no rights but where is the line drawn? Brain implants? Anal penetration? Tracking chip implants? Tattooed bar codes? Obviously I am picking extremes for effect here but really, is there no line or limit both in military or private sector?

IMO, any sort of mandatory long term biological tracking or modification even for prisoners and soldiers should be off limit.

The tracker is not that bad if you consider the alternative is group PT sessions. I've heard many complaints about how PT is executived in the military. From this perspective, the fitness tracker gives you additional freedom. A lot of people in the military right now would be glad to have the opportunity to do workouts with a fitness tracker.

Group PT sessions are time bound and unobtrusive and they also build comradery between group members of the group which is kinda important in the military I'd think.
