Ask HN: Am I a Copycat?

I got self-doubt that am I doing right by making https://pipgig.com

Quick story:

I am from India and my wife is a beginner and trying to sell her digital arts online. (helinaik.com)

I asked her to use gumroad because I like it. After some time they just update their pricing and started charging 9% which I thought is more. So I thought of making a platform where a creator can make most of their earning.

I like making things so I made MVP quickly but now as we are approaching marketing I Got this question "Am I a copycat?"

Do share your thoughts. TIA
