My production servers run docker containers. Where are Slack, Spotify, GUIs, etc ran? Of course in containers.
I've never seen Slack, Spotify, or a DE run in containers, so you must be going very much out of your way for that to be the case. And if you're going that far, why do you care about the distro in the first place?
