„not to be confused with the European transportation super app also named Bolt„
A local e-scooter lender said their bikes lasted for 40 days on average. It is like a joke. And ofcourse they are trying to make up for losses per unit by increasing numbers.
So between the mining/manufacturing/delivery of new scooters and bikes, and endless running-around of a fleet of vehicles to continually pick-up the rentals for recharging & redistribution, it seems that the chances of these being a carbon-reducing scheme dwindle to s.f.a.
I'm shocked they missed a pun opportunity in the headline.
