Nothing gives me that old computer feeling (that first time chatting to a stranger, first time online, modem sounds) more than looking at WinAmp and XMMS. Hard to understand perhaps but there was a sense of magic at first when you were chatting with someone, in a chat room, you played music and were writing a document. Idk, to me it felt very special at the time.
