I'm curious: Why use webpack with esbuild in a "most recent frontend project"?

Not so long ago at $DAYJOB we even migrated a big legacy project from webpack to esbuild in no time.

I've used webpack for several years now and have written custom plugins to accomplish what I need. esbuild-loader gives great typescript performance almost on par with vite so I don't see the need to learn a new build system.

Also, there's no official Vue 3 support for esbuild so that's a problem for some of my projects
