Holy shit it happened again! Huggbees is a YouTube channel who got big making comedic parodies of How It's Made videos. Their classic humorous bait-and-switch is that they start out for the first 30 seconds sounding normal, then he starts saying progressively more and more ridiculous things. Every so often a lazy online journalist will link to one of his videos in a serious article, clearly thinking it's meant to be educational. Bamboozled yet again.

Is this an actual thing that is happening regularly, or is it yet another thing that someone suggested was a real thing online that then got picked up and reported as fact?
99.9% chance of the latter. Kids are generally not quite _that_ stupid in quite that way.
