UK Amazon Prime subscription price raised by £1 a month

Time to cancel I think. I almost cancelled last time they raised the price and attempted to justify it by saying Prime members now had access to a load of junk I didn't want -like Amazon Video, Audible and Amazon Photos.

They need to introduce a tiering system whereby people who just want the basic free delivery and not all the [for me] useless extras can pay a lower rate.

Also...

>Amazon said the price rise, its first in the UK since 2014...

Is that true? It doesn't seem like eight years since it went up last time.

And with runaway inflation and Paramount Plus and Disney now further diluting the streaming market.. I’m surprised by this.
