No-code is overrated. I took way too long to start coding, don’t make the same

Personally I'm a fan of the way Microsoft Access solves the no-code dilemma. There you get a general all purpose database. You then get the tools to create a useful user interphase that let's user's input data in what ever manner your solution dictates. It's very useful. You can even compile it into an application that you can move where ever you want without having to have Access installed. It's blotted code but for a simple solution it does the job and no monthly fees. This is the model that no-code solutions should follow.
I would even say that the best of no-code tools should start with a basic application, database, and have that be your starting point which can be modified at will. There are many companies that need a simple database solution but can't get it developed because of the money and time it takes. A no-code database solution would be great. One that you write once and it can be used on multiple platforms.
You can extend them to your hearts content once you've got the validation or funding to hire developers
