AFAIK PeerTube is federated and non-anonymous; it's quite different from P2P.
Good hosting companies don't really like anonymous clients. They know who you are, or they know the name of the person paying the hosting bill.
My understanding is that peertube still uses a single host to store the data. It works like P2P only when there are multiple viewers on a video for bandwidth-saving reasons.
