The idea of 1link [1] is to offer a link page similar to what you can do with Linktree [2], but specifically designed for indie authors. For now, the main addition compared to other services is the ability to showcase your books by displaying a beautiful animated 3D cover.

I have some ideas for future features, such as having one page for each book and aggregating data like reviews. But instead of building features that no one will use, I’m communicating with potential users to see what problems they need to be solved.

I also published the HTML template for free on Gumroad [3], if anyone wants to use it on their website :)

If I were to go back to commercial publishing, I wouldn't consider using this. I already have a personal website; what does this give me that I can't make for myself on my homepage?

Many authors (among the ones I discussed with) don’t have a personal website. They have profiles on social media, Amazon author page, and maybe a page on their publisher’s website. They usually use Linktree as a unique link to redirect their users. My goal is to offer a better alternative :)
