Denmark bans Chromebooks and Google Workspace in schools over data transfer risk

I've been doing some digging and as I understand from people working inside the city, it is up to each of the 90+ municipalities of Denmark to make the decision on who will be their next vendor to fill the gaps left by Chromebooks.
This is really just the beginning. No US vendor who bakes in data transfers back home is going to be safe.
The only OS which is fit for purpose is Linux. Schools aren't going to want anything to do with a solution that isn't as easy to manage as Google Workspaces for Education.
If you're someone who is into this space or are passionate about FOSS solutions for education and wants a Danish co-founder to put together a turnkey service can you reach out to me at my username at skiff dot com?
