It's starting to look like pseudoscience, just like cold fusion, quantum computing, and machine learning.
What part of quantum computing is pseudoscience?
That one is still invokes the scientific method.
Are you sure about that? Nobody actually built a quantum computer. That means it could all be some kind of intellectual pipe-dream that comes crashing down when someone physically builds one, or maybe a quantum computer is an inherently impossible device that just LOOKS LIKE it might be possible and these assholes are just naval-gazing at an Escher painting.
Of course there are quantum computers. They are 50-100 qubits, currently.
It has to be done at scale before I believe.
Just a bunch of fun math. Maxwell's equations can be derived from damn near anything, which is cool.
Quantum computing is not pseudoscience, it has just proved difficult to make practical (so far). The principles are sound.
Machine learning,,, I don't even know what to say about this
Machine learning is just statistics but without anything that makes statistics scientific.
