That seems more along the lines of starting over from first principles. IIUC it gives stable identifiers separate from routing location such that the multihoming issue is resolved.

CJDNS and Pinecone both seem to be layering an alternate routing model based on identity rather than network location. So, building on the existing system, rather than replacing it.
