Apple launched M1 close to 2 years ago. It delivered exceptional performance per watt. Qualcomm being so old ARM player why they are so far behind?

Qualcomm 8+ Gen1 uses TSMC 4 nm

If it were just a matter of node size, do you think Intel of all companies would have hesitated to throw all the financial muscle they have at migrating their designs to work with TSMC nodes?

Problem us apple uses financial clout to force out others or gain exclusive access to the latest and greatest. We will get a more apples to apple comparison when all competing architectures are manufactured on the same node.
