Xiaomi violating GPL Licence by not releasing source code

Hate to pile on (lol) but I have a xiaomi phone and it actually shows ads when I install a PWA. Everytime I install something (from play store or PWA) it has this "security check" screen on which it shows ads.

I'm not sure what's more ridiculous, running a security check after installing something from the play store, which has already been reviewed by google, or running one after installing a PWA, which doesn't have any security relevant permissions anyway.
