Sensors carried by cars begin measuring air quality in New York City

This is a great initiative. I’m looking forward to seeing the results. Air pollution has been linked to various negative health outcomes, even autism.

Counterintuitively, air pollution from cars lingers in the air up to 6-7 stories, so living relatively above the traffic doesn’t solve these problems.
