Jeez, 1 billion personal records in a country with a population of 1.4 billion. If true, this would have to contain the basic personal information of nearly everyone citizen.
Everyone except 400,000,000 people, in fact.
What's crazier is that according to the alternate link posted here, it didn't sell!
The original post said both "Billons of Chinese" and "1 Billion", so who knows, it may be closer to the full 1.4 Billion than we think.
