It would help if this article gave some examples of the superior coding style that doesn’t use functions. I would be very curious what it would look like or how it would be bug free. Would it use lots of goto statements like the early computing days? I have to say I don’t entirely understand this article.

The fact the HTML might sit on a remote server is a crafting detail left to the categorical machine

The server in turn may need to issue crafting requests to load stuff from disk

The nice thing about crafting is that stuff gets cached in inventory as a side effect. You can toss inventory as a way to clear the cache
