I would never have expected such calls creating that much data points, this is crazily detailed. Even for two years this seems like a lot of poop. I mean how many people do call in poop in the first place?
More I'd hope. There's a good reason for it too, faeces and trash will attract rats and the combination is a good source for all kinds of health issues, especially if you mix it with a large homeless population. Check out the number of Typhus cases in the last years.
Back when I lived in San Francisco I've met many people who used the SF311 app [0] where you can very quickly snap a picture and report an issue. One person I knew did so multiple times a day every day for many things – poop, trash, etc. The impressive thing was that the authorities would indeed show up often and clean things up.
