Ask HN: Where can I find open source icons for my apps?

Found a bunch of icons on Flaticon that match what I am looking for. Thanks!

You're welcome.

Interested in learning what others do. I've been in this same situation and the options are not ideal. My best bet so far is to cobble together some public domain (no attribution) SVGs, lightly adapt as needed, and use them to generate my PNGs, etc.

That's what I did for https://delayedsend.com, for example.

Figma community is a pretty great place to search for icons. They should all be liberally licensed (attribution only) and the benefit is that you can use Figma itself to change them if you need to

My friend made this: https://akaricons.com/

Let me know if it helps. I can forward your message to him

Have you tried Iconify?
