Shark evolution: a 450M year timeline

The first quarter hour of this lecture has some good stuff on Permian sharks (technically almost-sharks). Some of them look very shark-like indeed. Others are like eels! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfPLv4oc7PM

Not covered by this timeline:

Sharks came before grass.

Sharks came before trees.

Sharks came before dinosaurs and mammals.

And the most amazing one to me: Sharks came before Saturn had rings.

don't bother opening it, tried on mobile, whole screen has some grey overlay without close button making reading extremely difficult, had to block it with ublock, such website doesn't deserve any readers

Agreed. And Mobile Safari's reader mode doesn't help.

Mobile Safari reader mode was effective for me. Maybe because I have Purify for ad blocking (which didn’t remove transparent gray overlay, unfortunately).

Firefox Android reader mode works well, except the images only load if you scroll through the article before enabling the reader mode.

You can also get ublock for Firefox Android, which also seems to solve the issue

> don't bother opening it, tried on mobile, whole screen has some grey overlay…

It's the "Accept Cookies" overlay, obviously poorly tested on mobile.

Safari's Reader mode fixed it for me.
