It's worked pretty well for the last three years. Arch Linux will never reach the same scale that Ubuntu or Debian will simply because of its barrier to entry, so I imagine it should work fine for the immediate future.

Seriously? Arch is KISS. There's no magic involved so I don't see how it's more difficult to use it than Debian.

What do you mean by scale?
