Preeeety wild. I really hate car culture. What a waste of space and resources. Also, the sunk cost here is why Apple will have a hard time ever fully embracing remote work.
Certainly that's a lot of money. But Apple's net income from the latest quarter, not year, is $25B. I don't know how much lock-in we should expect from ~1% of their annual profit.
