Age restriction is a big one I don't see mentioned a lot. In the real world this is easy to enforce, you can clearly see who is a child and who is an adult. Online traffic might have a way to guess this, but ultimately the infrastructure is not built to distinguish between age groups. What then happens is that children are commenting on all kinds of matters and people take it seriously, not to mention a lot of censorship is also justified because children/younger audiences are susceptible to it.
Perhaps content or channels get some viewer ratings like movies, and also age-gated somehow. I honestly think if done effectively this solves 90% of trolling, which is probably teenagers trolling and others taking it seriously.
