China detects possible ‘extraterrestrial civilizations;’ state media reports

They're true capitalists now yikes

(But in all seriousness do you have any specific complaints about the announcement beyond "China bad"? They're not usually ones to lie about woo woo stuff, due to pretending to still be communist.)

Look at the article:

>In the report, translated using Google Translate, the team claims to have discovered “several cases of possible technological traces of extraterrestrial civilizations from outside the Earth.” Those traces include narrowband signals, which are used for short-range transmissions.

They're making sweeping claims about something they can't even read. Not exactly "stellar" journalism.

Edit: On my end I don't know enough about physics to comment on a paper like this in English, but hey, maybe I should be a "Multimedia Journalist" like Eric Henrikson here rather than try my hardest to be accurate, even if I am a bit gonzo in my writing style

who's populace? The US is the one currently obsessed with nonsense UFOs et al
