Bill Gates says crypto and NFTs are a sham

Almost unbelievable that I'd ever agree with Bill Gates. But this time I'm with him all the way.

The largest amount of money and social status per unit of time is gained (and lost) by betting on sociopolitical trends which starts from nothing and become significant.

Bill Gates had to work from 1976 to 1986 in order to make what Soros made by shorting the British Pound in just one week back in 1992.

Crypto is similar, it's a socio-political movement , a set of ideas which for some reason resonates with the public.

Same was betting on Brexit at t-4 weeks or on Donald Trump to win the election in August 2016
