If you are not going through YC and raising your own funds, recessions are a great time to vet VCs.

Most VCs during this time quiver and grow timid and scared.

They do not have confidence in their network, in their mentorship or their determination.

However there are a few VCs who are not like the above.

Finding them is easier during this time because everyone else is not pretending.

Find them and raise capital from them. One of the many boons of a market downturn for building a startup.
