It is, you get USB-C - > Magsafe cable in the box and can use it with every USB-C charger and of course still can charge over normal USB-C if you left Magsafe cable at home.

Has both just like the new Pros. They didn't specifically confirm you can charge on USB-C, but my guess would be you can.

with the Pros, they support both. That would be my guess here as well.
