Thoughts on a new 3D DCC app?

I'm wondering what a next-generation 3D DCC system might look like. How it might differentiate itself from the Maya/Houdini/Blender apps out there.

My take is that those apps will be designed to create interactive experiences. At least that's the direction I follow with the one I create ( https://polygonjs.com )
