Show HN: Moochee – have fun quiz games with crowd

Moochee[1] is an interactive quiz game for teams. One person starts a game on PC/Mobile as host, the other people can join by scanning the QR code with mobile camera as players. We can easily supporting 100+ people playing in one game. It was built by two of us during pandemic. We have the need to run online quiz game but the commercial solution like Kahoot! is too pricy and only support 20-50 players in their affordable plans.

There are 2 options to experience it: 1. Try Out: no log in required, you can host/play existing fun quizzes 2. Sign In: log in with google, then you can host/play any quizzes and even create your own quizzes.

Our tech stack: node.js, websocket, preact, htm, no any frontend build, pure ESM

Give it a try! Any feedback would be really appreciated. :-)
